I'm a software developer with a passion for learning and developing aesthetically pleasing applications that help people live simpler more meaningful lives.
I first learned to program in high school and after the console printed out 'Hello World!' the first time for the first time, I was hooked. From there pursued a degree in computer science. Along the way I experienced an array of different technologies from an assortment of personal projects and internships.
After graduating, I took a job with a consulting company where I helped build software for manufacturing companies. Then after getting married and moving, I spent the next few years focusing on front-end web development in React while working on Android application development in my personal time. Since then I've spent the past few years working full time as an Android developer.
I've always taken it upon myself to learn from both the projects I do at work, but also in my personal time. When I'm not at work, you can probably find me at home working on Android projects or learning more from podcasts, articles, and videos. When I'm not writing software I enjoy spending time with my wife and our kids, reading, and listening to baseball games.
